Allura Partners are delighted to be partnering with a high-growth, VC backed Fin-Tech start-up in their search for a Finance Analyst. This role will report directly to the CFO and will be a pure commercial & forward thinking position.

As the first hire in the finance and treasury function, you will be an integral part of the team. You will work closely with the Founders and take meaningful responsibility for the day-to-day functioning and success of the finance
and treasury functions of a high-growth startup. You’ll have the opportunity to own critical strategic, operational and capital responsibilities from day one.

What you’ll do
Reporting directly to the founders and working closely with our leadership team, you’ll be responsible for high impact financial operations and strategy, including:
• Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) - assist with budgets, forecasts, cashflow projections and monthly reporting.
• Build and maintain financial models to support decision-making on pricing, product launches, hiring and fundraising.
• Owning Reporting Deliverables - monthly P&L updates, variance analysis, KPI dashboards, investor packs and board presentations.
• Business Insights - collaborate with marketing, and operations teams to understand business performance and provide actionable insights.
• Support accounting and finance operations, including reconciliations, invoice tracking, payments and liaising with external accountants.
• Treasury Support - Oversee settlement processes and management of fund disbursals along with monitoring debt facilities and covenants.

Who you are
You’re sharp, resourceful, and hungry to have an outsized impact. You’re likely working in an accounting or finance role—and you’re now ready to apply your skillset in a more hands-on, entrepreneurial environment.

Must-Haves:
• 2–4 years' experience in Big 4 accounting advisory, FP&A, operational finance roles, corporate finance or similar
• Strong understanding of accounting and budgeting processes
• Financial modelling, analytical and forecasting skills
• Excellent attention to detail and structured problem-solving ability
• Proficient in Excel and comfortable building models from scratch
• Highly accountable, with the drive to take ownership and run independently
• Eagerness to operate cross-functionally
• Strong communication skills – written and verbal
