Direct Solutions is a boutique rehabilitation provider currently seeking a dedicated Rehabilitation Consultant to join our growing team in NSW. We are specifically recruiting in the Orange/Bathurst region, and we also have opportunities available in Wollongong.

Work from home with occasional travel to meet clients face-to-face ( via telehealth).

This role focuses on delivering high-quality case management services for Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA) clients, serving members, and return-to-work (RTW) clients.

Your Role:

As a Rehabilitation Consultant with Direct Solutions, you will play a vital role in delivering client-centred rehabilitation services under the Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA) Rehabilitation Program and Current Serving members. You’ll support your clients through tailored recovery pathways that promote wellbeing, independence, and return to meaningful life roles.

Key responsibilities include:

Managing a caseload of clients with physical and/or psychological injuries

Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify individual rehabilitation needs

Developing and implementing personalised rehabilitation plans aligned with client.

Supporting smooth transitions from military service to civilian life

Applying evidence-based, early intervention strategies

Using motivational interviewing and other client-focused techniques

Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and liaising with key stakeholders

Preparing high-quality, timely reports reflecting clinical reasoning and outcomes

Contributing to team development, mentoring, and service innovation initiatives

Who We Are Looking For:

We are seeking highly motivated Rehabilitation Consultants with a passion for helping individuals recover and thrive. Ideal candidates will have:

Tertiary qualifications in Rehabilitation Counselling, Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, or Physiotherapy

Experience in occupational rehabilitation, case management, and return-to-work coordination

Knowledge of DVA & ADF frameworks

Must have experience working with Veterans or Serving Members

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Registration with a relevant professional body

Comcare Accreditation ( WRP workshop & eLearn )

National Police Check

Mental Health First Aid Training

A current driver’s license
