Project Manager - Commercial Plumbing

$180K Salary + Fully Maintained Vehicle or Vehicle Allowance | NSW-Based | Leading Contractor

Evolve Talent is proud to be partnering with a nationally recognised plumbing contractor with over 30 years of experience delivering projects across the commercial, residential, industrial, and civil sectors. With a strong pipeline of work, they are now looking to expand their NSW team with an experienced Project Manager who is ready to lead, deliver, and make a meaningful impact.

The Role

As a Project Manager, you will be the key driver between estimating and project delivery. You'll be responsible for managing all stages of the project life-cycle, from contract award through to final handover and the defects liability period.

This role is 80% office-based and 20% on-site, offering a balanced mix of strategic project oversight and hands-on delivery management.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure full compliance with all HSE and QA standards and procedures
• Manage cost control, variations, labour forecasting, and progress claims using JobPac
• Monitor site progress and coordinate timely delivery of materials
• Lead site teams and subcontractors, managing schedules and quality outcomes
• Identify and implement cost-saving measures within contract guidelines
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
• Manage site assets, equipment, and logistics effectively

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar Project Management role within plumbing or construction
• Strong understanding of hydraulic systems, drawings, and construction documentation
• Trade-qualified plumber, with tertiary qualifications in project management (preferred)
• Proven ability to manage budgets, track costs, and forecast labour
• Comfortable working within structured systems such as JobPac or similar ERPs
• Strong commercial acumen, detail-oriented, and calm under pressure
• A solutions-focused attitude with a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes
