Bull Group is a specialist provider of structural steel and tilt panel installation, rigging, crane solutions and labour hire for the construction and industrial sectors. We are known for delivering high-risk, high-precision work with safety, reliability, and efficiency at the forefront.

As we launch our Queensland operations, we’re looking for a capable and hands-on Operations Manager to take the lead on the ground. This is a multiskilled role for someone who can oversee the setup of our new location, coordinate people and resources, build strong client relationships, and drive new opportunities from day one.

The Role
This role is ideal for someone who thrives on variety and wants to be part of building something from the ground up. You’ll play a key role in establishing and running our QLD operations, with support from the head office team in Victoria. Responsibilities include:

Leading the setup of our Queensland site and operational footprint

Building relationships with clients across steel erection, rigging, crane and transport services

Estimating and quoting new jobs

Scheduling resources, managing plant and coordinating site crews

Overseeing documentation, compliance, timesheets, and general administration

Supporting safety, quality and workforce development on site

What You’ll Bring
We’re after someone who is resourceful, dependable, and ready to take initiative. To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

Solid experience in structural steel, rigging and/or some form of construction operations

Strong leadership and organisational skills

Ability to manage machinery, rosters, and project delivery

Working knowledge of safety and compliance systems

High attention to detail and confidence with admin and systems

A proactive, self-starting attitude
