This committed service welcomes an experienced Occupational Therapist to join their warm and supportive team as they endeavour to change the lives of their clients. This role boasts opportunities: Grow in your desired direction (leadership, clinical lead, supervision and more!). You will be working with a small, friendly team providing clinic-based and community service delivery to children with a range of diagnoses.
The Role:
Undertake assessments and provide intervention, liaising with families, teachers & other relevant stakeholders
Prescription of equipment, assistive technologies and other therapy supports
Providing treatment, guidance and education to parents, carers and teachers
Interventions will have a focus on evidence-based practice
Requirements:
Tertiary Qualification in Occupational Therapy (with AHPRA registration).
Some clinical experience
Good written and verbal communication with the ability to build rapport with clients and families to ensure that therapy is engaging.
Current driver’s license and car
Ability to work both independently and in a team
