Site Manager

Sydney CBD | 5-Month Contract | Start 14/07/25

We're looking for an experienced site manager to lead the day-to-day delivery of a high-end office refurbishment project in the heart of the Sydney CBD. This 5-month contract involves managing works across three office floors, communal spaces, reception, and a basement area within a live environment.

The Role:
As site manager, you'll oversee all site operations during standard day hours, ensuring progress aligns with the construction program and quality standards. You'll coordinate trades, manage safety on site, liaise with the client team and keep the program on track. You will have up to 2 Site Supervisors for support along with a Senior Site Manager.

Strip out and refurbishment of three commercial office floors

Upgrades to reception and communal areas

Basement modifications and services coordination

Working in a live, occupied environment with minimal disruption to tenants

Key responsibilities:

Manage daily site operations and lead subcontractors on site

Coordinate site logistics, deliveries, and access in a live environment

Enforce WHS, environmental, and quality compliance

Maintain detailed site reports, inductions, and progress updates

Liaise with the project manager to ensure program milestones are met

About you:

Proven experience delivering commercial office fit-outs or refurbishments

Comfortable managing live environment projects in the CBD

Strong knowledge of WHS requirements and site safety leadership

Good communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills

Available to commit to a full-time dayshift contract for the full project duration

White card required; SMWS, First Aid, or carpentry background preferred

Contract details:

Start: Immediate or ASAP

Location: Sydney CBD

Duration: 5-month contract

Hours: Standard dayshift, Monday to Friday

Rate: Competitive daily rate, negotiable based on experience
