You’ll work as part of a multidisciplinary project delivery team, ensuring commissioning activities are safely and effectively executed, while influencing design decisions to ensure operability and maintainability throughout the asset lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement the Commissioning Management Plan, and manage the Completions Management System setup.

Lead a construction-led approach to Advanced Work Packaging (AWP) and systemisation for commissioning.

Conduct constructability and design reviews, driving early engagement for best outcomes.

Review and improve systems, procedures, and standards related to pre-commissioning, commissioning, and completions.

Liaise with senior stakeholders to communicate progress, risks, and technical strategies.

Oversee commissioning personnel, ensuring alignment with quality, safety, and performance expectations.

Participate in post-project reviews to capture lessons learned and contribute to continuous improvement.

Requirements:

A degree in engineering or a related field – or significant equivalent site-based experience.

Proven experience leading commissioning and completions on large-scale mining or heavy industrial projects.

Familiarity with materials handling and mineral sands processing is highly desirable.

Strong leadership, coaching, and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and proactive mindset.

Hands-on experience with Constructability, Operability, and Maintainability workshops.

Broad understanding of project phases and ability to coordinate across disciplines to ensure smooth execution.
