Join our Mobile Patient Care (MPC) team, where you'll provide non-emergency patient transport across Victoria and parts of New South Wales. Based in Wagga Wagga, this role offers a calmer, more structured alternative to high-pressure emergency care-perfect for those who want to make a difference without the intensity of emergency response work.
What You'll Do
As a Patient Transport Officer (PTO), you'll ensure patients are transported safely and comfortably between home, hospitals, and specialist appointments. You'll work in a supportive team environment where patient care and professionalism come first.
Key responsibilities include:
*Providing safe, respectful transport for patients with a range of medical needs
*Conducting on-road patient assessments and care
*Collaborating with healthcare teams and maintaining strong patient relationships
*Navigating both urban and regional roads confidently
What You'll Need
*Certificate III in Non-Emergency Patient Transport, Diploma of Nursing, or equivalent
*Bachelor of Health Science (Paramedic) students welcome after completing second year
*A current Full Driver's Licence is essential
*Availability for 10-12 hour shifts across a 5-day roster- Monday to Friday
