The Institute for Urban Indigenous Health Ltd was established by its founding members to provide a coordinated/integrated approach to the planning, development and delivery of comprehensive primary health care services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander populations within the Southeast Qld Region.
The Organisational Development Team’s primary focus is to assist IUIH meet its strategic objective of expanding and maintaining a competent and enabled health workforce. With IUIH experiencing significant workforce growth over the last ten years the focus is on development, management and implementation of frameworks and programs to: increase Indigenous workforce participation, build required workforce skill sets, train existing staff to maximise opportunities for business development and quality of care, build workforce pathways, create and nurture an innovative, inclusive, reflective and respectful environment built on Aboriginal Ways.
About the Role?
This position will work collaboratively with key staff across the Network to design and develop contextualised digital learning experiences. The key functions of this role are to work with subject matter experts (SME) and other key staff to design creative and engaging digital learning that supports Aboriginal and Torres Strait islander health and community services delivery. In addition, the role will ensure the Cultural Integrity Investment Framework (CIIF) is embedded through the design and delivery of developed learning experiences.
Day to Day Duties Include:
- Lead the consultation and collaboration with subject matter experts to design, develop and implement digital learning content that is contextualised to IUIH’s Ways and System of Care.
- Collaborate with SME, , key staff and other roles within Organisational Development, and IUIH’s Communications Team to further create rich media course content (video, written content, audio, dynamic and static visual assets, infographics etc.) that results in interactive and engaged learning
- Assist in, and at times coordinate the project management of digital learning projects by setting deadlines and maintaining regular contact with SME
- Assist in the facilitation and tech support of online virtual sessions as advised by the Digital Learning Working Group
- Edit recordings of online virtual sessions and send out links and content for review as advised by the Digital Learning Working Group
- Contribute to and attend digital systems working groups as advised by the Digital Learning Working Group
About You?
Mandatory Requirements
- Proven skills and experience in project coordination (i.e. following processes, scoping work, work with SME)
- Knowledge in animation design
- Knowledge of universal design principles
- Advanced Knowledge of other associated software packages; Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premier Pro, Microsoft Office and Learning Management Systems
- Current C Class Drivers Licence (QLD)
- Ability to travel across South East Queensland (SEQ) as required
- Current Criminal History Check
- Relevant tertiary qualification and/or experience according to capability requirements
Desirable Requirements
- Cert IV TAE
- Data coding
- Demonstrated experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and /or communities
