Sydney Community Care Services (SCCS) is currently seeking a motivated and compassionate female support worker to join our team. We’re looking for someone with experience working with people with disabilities.

Roles & Responsibilities include:

Domestic support and household tasks

Assistance in preparation of meals

Support with wheelchair and walker

Assisting clients to access the community

Providing general emotional support

Assisting with personal care and grooming

The successful candidate will have:

The ability to develop strong relationships with our clients

Experience working with both psychosocial and physical disability participants (preferred)

Reliability, patience, and strong communication skills

Comfortable around cats

Wearing a mask in clients home at all times

Mandatory Requirements include:

Minimum Cert III IV in Disability, Individual Support or related.

Current First Aid level 2 Certificate

Current CPR (annual)

National Police Children Check (less than 6 months old or willingness to obtain)

Current Working with Children’s Check (WWCC) or willingness to obtain

NDIS Workers Clearance

Current Driver’s License

Own vehicle with comprehensive car insurance or willingness to obtain
