About Our Client:
Our client is a prominent wholesaler specialising in a wide range of premium food products including Cheese & Dairy, Salumi & Charcuterie, Cured & Smoked Fish, and Pickled & Brined Foods.

We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Worker to join their team.

The Role:
As a Warehouse Worker, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely handling of food products in accordance with company standards. You will be working in a cold/chilled environment, handling and moving goods to ensure smooth warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Work in a cold/chilled environment (2-5 degrees Celsius for approximately 80% of your shift)

Move and handle boxes, lifting up to 20kg

Load, unload, and stack pallets

Locate and deliver food grade goods to manufacturing areas

Receive, inspect, and unload incoming goods

Pack and wrap finished products ready for dispatch

Perform quality assurance checks

Maintain inventory control

General warehouse duties as required

Criteria:

Previous warehouse experience preferred

Experience with food or refrigerated goods is desirable

Strong communication skills

Knowledge of HACCP & Food Safety standards is desirable

Highly diligent, conscientious, honest, and reliable
