ABOUT PICNIC REAL FOOD BAR
Picnic Real Food Bar is a vibrant and successful contemporary eatery within North Stores, an architecturally designed venue in the heart of Tamborine Mountain. North Stores also houses Loborn Tasting Bar (a specialty amaro and gin micro distillery), Potta Studio ceramics and workshops, Outland Denim, and the soon-to-open Nurture at North Stores: a health and wellness hub.
At Picnic, we are dedicated to real food, integrity of product, professional standards, and a supportive, collaborative team culture. Our seasonal menus highlight fresh, local produce with a focus on nourishing meals, including vegan and gluten-free options, all crafted from scratch in our kitchen, from house-made jams, relishes, and condiments, and including fresh pastries, and cakes.
Our drinks menu features Reuben Hills micro-roastery speciality coffee, Byron Bay organic Mayde Tea, house-made cold-pressed juices, local beers on tap, and Australian natural wines and beverages.
We have a strong sustainability mission: low waste, recycled packaging, closed-loop composting, on-site uv filtered spring water bore, bio-wastewater system, and raised-bed kitchen gardens and mini orchard.
Everything is considered here, and great care is taken in everything we do. We are about real food and team culture. Our small team values professionalism, working with diligence, integrity and care, and producing a great product.
