Rate: $130–$140/hour including super

The Opportunity
Join a major national security program delivering a cutting-edge cloud-based data platform. As the Test Manager, you will lead the test strategy and execution across critical systems built on AWS. You’ll oversee a growing team, ensure testing best practices are embedded in agile processes, and help shape long-term release planning.
You can be based in ACT, VIC, QLD, or WA, with flexible arrangements available for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

Define and implement a test strategy for cloud-native platforms

Lead, mentor, and uplift capability within the testing team

Track test planning and execution to ensure timely delivery

Serve as the escalation point for test outcomes

Coordinate with technical teams to ensure clear understanding of results

Drive continuous improvement in testing standards and processes

Skills and Experience
Essential:

Strong knowledge of test management tools (e.g. JIRA / X-ray)

Experience testing in AWS cloud environments

Deep understanding of Agile methodology

Desirable:

Experience defining automation frameworks (Mobile & Functional)

Exposure to Playwright, Cucumber, or similar tools

Security Clearance
You must be an Australian Citizen and hold a current NV1 clearance and be willing to undergo an Organisational Suitability Assessment (OSA).
