About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Machinery Maintenance Technician who is interested in stepping into a supervisory role. You will coordinate day-to-day tasks for the maintenance team, develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules, and ensure the smooth operation of our machinery and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate and supervise the maintenance team’s daily activities.

Develop, implement, and maintain a preventative maintenance program.

Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated systems.

Assist in troubleshooting and resolving production equipment breakdowns.

Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Collaborate with production and management teams to minimise downtime and improve equipment reliability.

About You

Certificate III in Engineering (or similar mechanical/maintenance trade qualification) — essential.

Previous experience with hydraulic machinery, pneumatics, and automation — highly advantageous.

Strong mechanical aptitude and excellent problem-solving skills.

Physically fit and capable of performing repetitive, manual tasks.

High attention to detail and strong commitment to safety and quality.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and lead a small team.

Australian driver's licence — essential.
