Disability Support Worker (Casual) - Melbourne's western suburbs

Mindhelp, founded by Mental Health Nurses, specialises in the treatment and support of individuals with mental illness, complex behaviours, and other disabilities. Mindhelp is a Registered NDIS Provider operating in Melbourne & Geelong.

Mindhelp is currently seeking Disability Support Workers who are passionate about working with participants with mental illness and/or other disabilities. As a Disability Support Worker, you will assist participants with activities of daily living and personal care.

The hourly rate is dependent on your level of experience and qualifications.

Mandatory Requirements:

A Certificate III or IV in Disability Support Work or a similar qualification is required. Additionally or students studying a Health Science-related degree are encouraged to apply.

Demonstrated interest in supporting individuals living with mental illness

NDIS worker’s screening check

Own vehicle with comprehensive car insurance

Australian drivers licence

Working with Children’s Check

Medication competent

Current first aid certificate & Current CPR (annual)

National police check

Fully vaccinated (COVID 19)
