About the Role
As a BD Specialist/Exacutive, you will drive our store network growth by identifying prime retail sites and securing lease agreements for new MINISO locations across Australia. You will negotiate commercial lease terms, coordinate closely with landlords and property agents, and oversee the end-to-end lease process to ensure each new store opening is successful.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lease Management & Communication:
Assist the Business Development Manager in communicating with real estate agents and investors, following up on lease contract negotiations and signing, reviewing commercial terms, and tracking the progress of store-related payments. Ensure smooth coordination between internal departments and external partners.
• Project Coordination:
Help in planning and overseeing the timeline for new store openings, renovations, and temporary locations (including POP-UP stores). Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that projects stay on track and are completed within deadlines.
• Cost Application & Payment Tracking:
Submit monthly applications for store-related costs, such as rent, to the finance department, and follow up on the payment process to ensure timely and accurate transactions.
• Market Research & Support:
Conduct regular research and analysis of the Australian retail market, shopping districts, and commercial real estate trends. Provide comprehensive reports based on findings to assist in strategic decision-making.
• Reporting & Documentation:
Prepare weekly and monthly reports on departmental and project progress to keep stakeholders informed.
Requirements:
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in lease administration, property management, or a related role.
• Sound understanding of leasing practices and general property management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong communication skills in English. Proficiency in Chinese is a plus.
• Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong multitasking abilities, capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously.
