About the role
At Connolly Motors, we have an exciting opportunity for a qualified Motor Mechanic to join our team in Sandgate, Queensland. As a full-time role, you will be responsible for providing expert automotive repairs and maintenance services to our valued customers.

Description of the Position

Detecting and diagnosing faults in engines and parts on a wide range of vehicle makes and models. Dismantling and removing engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms and other components, and checking parts. Repairing and replacing worn and defective parts and reassembling mechanical components and referring to service manuals as needed

Performing routine maintenance tasks such as servicing, repairs and maintenance

Troubleshooting and resolving complex mechanical issues

Assisting with the installation and repair of various automotive components and systems

Adhering to all safety protocols and quality standards

Providing excellent customer service and advice

Maintaining detailed records of all work performed

Skills and Experience Required

Qualification in Automotive Mechanics - Cert III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (AUR30620) or Cert IV in Automotive Mechanical Technology (AUR40216)

Minimum 1 year experience as a qualified motor mechanic

Australian drivers licence is essential

Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills

Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Salary

The Salary for the position will be in the range of $75000 and $85000 depending on experience.
