Agrimate Fencing is a fast-moving commercial fencing company servicing civil and construction projects across Perth and regional WA. We’re known for our reliability, quick turnaround times, and strong values as a family-run business.

With large-scale developer clients and a growing number of install teams, we’re now looking to build out our operations team. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, this is a hands-on Project Manager role with real ownership.

This is not a desk-only role. Expect to be both in the office and out on-site, meeting large scale clients, solving their problems, making things happen, and stepping into the detail where needed. You will be project managing for 20-25 installers and our site supervisor.

The Opportunity

You’ll work side-by-side in our Operations team to keep fencing projects running on time, on budget, and to spec. Your core mission is to bring structure, foresight, and execution power to day-to-day site delivery.

Key Responsibilities

1. Planning & Delivery

Oversee multiple active jobs, ensuring smooth handover from Sales to Ops

Develop job plans (materials, crew, access, scheduling)

Ensure materials are ready and book machinery with enough buffer to prevent site downtime

Adjust timelines and resources dynamically as priorities shift

Liaise closely with estimators to ensure quotes are accurate and handovers are smooth for successful delivery

2. Site Execution & Oversight

Conduct site walks, confirm scope and mark-outs as required

Coordinate with the Site Supervisor to ensure crews are briefed and jobs are running to plan

Coordinate with Procurement to ensure materials are ready and correct

Keep install teams accountable to job cards, quality standards, and timelines

3. Client & Internal Communication

Be the operational point of contact for client-side PMs, builders, and engineers

Proactively manage expectations and solve delivery issues before they escalate

Feed field data back to Estimators to support better quoting and variations

4. Safety & Compliance

Ensure site activities comply with OHSE requirements.

Flag risks early and close out safety or quality issues quickly

5. Reporting & Workflow Systems

Track job progress, variations, and productivity and safety metrics

Keep internal systems updated (e.g. job board, documentation, delivery schedules)

Skills & Attributes

Previous experience in construction site coordination, fencing, civil works, or trades-based project delivery

Organised, calm under pressure, and able to run multiple jobs without chaos

Able to speak confidently with site crews, clients, suppliers, and internal teams

Comfortable and proactive with tech (iPads, job board tools, Google Sheets, Embracing AI etc.)

"Make it happen" attitude – no hand-holding required

Lead and grow the team though our value system

Requirements

Experience in fencing or similar trade subcontracting (chain wire, garrison, rural, temp, etc.)

This role requires a large mental bandwidth - if you consider yourself an A player and can back it up we want to hear from you!

Understanding of construction drawings and specs

White Card + valid Driver’s Licence
