What you’ll need to succeed
- Previous experience operating a manual lathe or similar machining equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude with attention to precision and detail
- Basic welding or spray welding experience is highly advantageous
- Toolmaking or similar hands-on trade experience is desirable
- Willingness to learn and undertake on-the-job training in specialised techniques
- Ability to follow technical instructions and interpret engineering drawings
- Demonstrated reliability and commitment to quality workmanship
