We're Hiring! – Part-Time Administration & Customer Service Role
Location: The Shed Company – Portland, VIC
Hours: 16–20 hours per week
Are you a highly organised and friendly person looking for a flexible part-time role in a dynamic team? The Shed Company Portland is seeking a reliable Administration Assistant to support our growing business.
About the Role:
You’ll be the friendly face and voice of our team, handling a variety of admin tasks and customer interactions. This role includes:
Data entry and general office administration
Communicating with customers via phone, email, and in person
Assisting with showroom enquiries and informal sales discussions
Supporting the permit and contract process (no experience necessary – we’ll provide training)
About You:
We’re looking for someone who is:
Friendly, professional, and confident in dealing with customers
Comfortable working independently and as part of a small team
Proficient with computers and good attention to detail
Willing to learn and pitch in where needed – from admin to helping a walk-in client
Bonus points if you have experience in:
Sales, retail, or customer service
Building, construction, or real estate admin
(But not essential – we value the right attitude and a willingness to learn!)
