Facility Manager (Director of Nursing – RN)

We are currently seeking an experienced and compassionate Facility Manager / Director of Nursing (Registered Nurse) to lead a well-established aged care facility located in the heart of Regional Victoria.

About the Role
As Facility Manager, you will provide strategic, clinical, and operational leadership to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and services to residents. Reporting directly to the Head of Aged Care or Regional Executive Manager, you will lead a dedicated team, maintain regulatory compliance, and foster a positive, inclusive culture for residents, families, and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage all aspects of clinical care, staffing, operations, and compliance
Ensure consistent adherence to Aged Care Quality Standards and legislative requirements
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and service excellence
Oversee occupancy, budget management, and service delivery KPIs
Build trusted relationships with families, stakeholders, and the local community
About You
To succeed in this role, you will bring a combination of clinical knowledge, operational experience, and people-first leadership.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
Minimum of 5 years’ leadership experience in an aged care or healthcare setting
Proven ability to manage teams, drive outcomes, and deliver exceptional resident care
Strong understanding of aged care compliance, AN-ACC/ACFI funding, and accreditation processes
Demonstrated financial and operational acumen
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
A values-driven leader with a passion for aged care
