$70.00 - $78.00 / hr days, $80.50 - $89.70 nights depending on experience

Watmar Engineering partners in industry and is supporting one of its partners to deliver Hydraulic Shutdown Maintenance for a Tier 1 client at their SW WA mine site.

About the Role

You will work as part of an experienced, subject matter expert team delivering Hydraulic and Mechanical Shutdown Maintenance on fixed plant.

You will perform routine corrective and preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on hydraulic systems and equipment, and keep records of works carried out in accordance with work packs and procedures. The team has very strong safety consciousness and practices - you will adhere to all safety regulations and protocols, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.

Personnel are required to hold a White Card, have a Cert IIII in Mechanical Engineering, pass a Medical / D&A test, and shall be subject to client health and safety policies and obligations, including random drug and alcohol testing, and permit compliance.

Experience / Qualifications

Cert III Mechanical Engineering

Hydraulics exposure and experience preferred

Rigging, Confined Space, and Working at Heights tickets preferred

White card

Previous mining or industrial sector experience

Can-do, will-do attitude

Knowledge of mine site fixed plant
