$76.00 - $82.50 / hr days, $87.40 - $94.88 nights depending on experience

Multiple opportunities for self-motivated and reliable Hydraulic Technicians to work on a SW WA Shutdown Maintenance project for 7 days – 12 hour shifts, 7 days, day or night shift.

Watmar Engineering partners in industry and is supporting one of its partners to deliver Hydraulic Shutdown Maintenance for a Tier 1 client at their SW WA mine site.

About the Role
You will work as part of an experienced, subject matter expert team delivering Hydraulic Shutdown Maintenance on fixed plant.
You will perform routine corrective and preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on hydraulic systems and equipment, and keep records of works carried out in accordance with work packs and procedures. The team has very strong safety consciousness and practices - you will adhere to all safety regulations and protocols, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Personnel are required to hold a White Card, have a Cert IV in Fluid Power and / or significant experience for Hydraulics, pass a Medical / D&A test, and shall be subject to client health and safety policies and obligations, including random drug and alcohol testing, and permit compliance.
Experience / Qualifications
Cert III Mechanical Engineering and significant Hydraulics exposure and experience
Cert IV in Fluid Power preferred
Rigging, Confined Space, and Working at Heights tickets preferred
White card
Previous mining or industrial sector experience
Can-do, will-do attitude
Knowledge of mine site fixed plant
