Specsavers Belmont Forum is looking for a vibrant and customer-focused Part-Time Optical Assistant to join our friendly team 3–4 days per week, with the opportunity to move into a full-time role for the right candidate.
No optical experience? No problem. We provide full training and support — we welcome those new to the industry with a great attitude and eagerness to learn.
Already working as an optical dispenser? We also encourage experienced applicants looking for a positive work environment or the opportunity to develop their current skills further.
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Welcoming customers and helping them feel at ease
* Assisting with frame selection and explaining lens options
*Measuring and choosing appropriate lenses for customer Spectacle orders
* Conducting pre-clinical testing to support the optometry team
* Providing outstanding customer service from start to finish

About Specsavers
Today, the Specsavers Partnership enjoys global success. With more than 1,700 stores and in 10 countries, we are the world’s largest optical retailer. Each business operates as a Joint Venture Partnership, meaning the stores are part-owned and managed by its directors. They are supported by centralised teams of specialists within our Support Offices in areas such as Marketing, Accounting, IT and Supply Chain.
