We currently have an exciting full-time opportunity for a new Logistics & Purchasing Assistant to join our growing team.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Logistics & Purchasing Assistant to join our team. This junior-level role is perfect for someone looking to kickstart their career in procurement, logistics, or supply chain management. You’ll provide crucial support to the production and manufacturing teams, ensuring smooth and efficient day-to-day operations.

Rate of remuneration will be dependent on candidates experience.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in placing and tracking purchase orders with local and national suppliers

Liaise with suppliers to request quotes, confirm pricing, and follow up on estimated delivery dates

Maintain accurate records of purchases, supplier contact details, and product information

Support the reconciliation of supplier invoices with deliveries and resolve any discrepancies

Update and maintain inventory and procurement systems with current order and stock status

Provide general administrative support to the procurement and supply chain teams

Skills & Experience

Proactive

Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills

Effective written and verbal communication skills

Experience with Microsoft Office

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Previous experience in an administrative, purchasing, or supply chain support role (desirable, not essential)
