Enterprise Domain Architect – Greenfield Project

📍 Sydney | 💼 Full Time | 🏢 Hybrid work model

We’re hiring an Enterprise Domain Architect to help shape the future state of architecture for a large, complex organisation. This is a senior architecture position that blends strategy, governance, and delivery oversight, without people management responsibilities.

About the Role
You’ll work with IT and business leaders to translate strategy into technology blueprints, target states, and implementation roadmaps. The focus is on enterprise-wide initiatives across domains such as:

  • Finance, HR, Payroll, and Workforce Management
  • Technology solutions specific to the companies domain

This role also plays a key part in developing architectural governance, standards, and communities of practice.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Define and maintain domain roadmaps and target state architectures
  • Contribute to business case development and capability mapping
  • Lead architectural governance forums and design assurance
  • Support vendor onboarding and technology procurement
  • Create and maintain reference architecture artefacts (patterns, policies, templates)
  • Uplift architecture maturity through education, training, and coaching
  • Keep ahead of emerging technologies in cloud, AI/ML, DevOps, and data platforms

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years in enterprise or domain architecture roles
  • Deep understanding of architecture principles, governance, and IT strategy
  • Experience across ERP platforms like Dynamics 365, Workday, Oracle, or UKG
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and the ability to influence senior execs
  • Proven experience developing reference architectures and aligning delivery
  • Bonus if you have: TOGAF or similar certifications, healthcare experience, or familiarity with platforms like Snowflake, Databricks, or Microsoft Fabric
