CCHC isn't like other places you've worked. Yes, we're a fast growing, dynamic organisation and we are doing extraordinary things for those living with a disability. Our clients are important to us, so they will be important to you! Customer Services is of utmost importance to us, it's the measure of our success. We have a wonderful team, who works hard, and are rewarded and appreciated for our efforts.
A vacancy exists for an experienced Scheduling Coordinator to join our Head Office based in Southport. The position is temporary full time (6 month position), Thursday to Monday , 8.00am to 4.06pm with potential of becoming full time permanent.
This will be a busy role! You assist with the Master Roster roll out, ensuring that is accurate and published well in advance. The primary role of a Saturday and Sunday will be to find cover for short notice cancellations, one off services and emergency services. You will do this whilst providing exceptional customer service to both our clients and our employees. There is another Scheduler – Monday to Friday - so you will work as a team to ensure that our rostering process is seamless! Initially the role will be for a six month period to ensure that it works for yourself, our clients and the business. There is a real possibility that it will become a permanent role.
Here at CCHC, we roster a little differently! We are all about client centred care, so we establish a team around a client and use those selected team members to fill shifts for that client!
Our ideal new hire will have:
The ability to get in and get shifts rostered! So you will be able to build rapport with our staff whilst understanding the needs of our clients.
You will have exceptional customer service and communication skills. If someone rings our 1800 number, it's your voice that they hear!
Participate in the On Call service every 6-8 weeks, which you will be paid an on call allowance
Be computer and IT savvy. You will be able to pick up systems quickly and have experience in Microsoft Office 365.
Ability to show initiative, enjoy working independently and in a team environment. You will have the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Well developed strong problem-solving skills with lateral thinking.
Knowledge of the SCHADS and Nurses Awards would be advantageous
You will have an NDIS (yellow & blue) card combined, or willingness to obtain
Unrestricted drivers licence and the ability to drive company vehicles as at times you will be out and about!
Support our Case Managers with maintaining continuity of care for our clients through the rosters and consistent staffing.
Experience working in the community disability and/or aged care sector would be highly desirable.
And you will need to love dogs as we have an office pooch that makes us all happy during the day!
As you are working Thursday to Monday you will be paid penalty rates for the days worked over the weekend.
If this sounds like you, please apply! Applications will be assessed as they are received, so don't leave it too long to apply.
