We have an exciting opportunity for a receptionist / administration assistant to join our boutique accounting firm located in Caulfield. This role is a full time role but with flexibility in hours.
We are an established accounting firm and pride ourselves to provide our clients with the best service possible. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive, relaxed and high performing environment.
The Role
The duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Being the face of the business - the first point of contact for client queries including answering phones and actioning emails
Preparing and lodging documentation as directed
Liaising with clients regarding their tax obligations
Following up on clients correspondence
Preparing and sending invoices
Liaising with the ATO and ASIC
Administrative support to the team including general admin duties, and office organisation
Ad hoc work as required
About you
It is a big tick if you have worked in an Australian public practice accounting firm before.
To be considered for this role you will also have:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills - ESSENTIAL
Attention to detail - ESSENTIAL
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Skills in managing & prioritising multiple tasks and ability to meet deadlines
Have experience with ASIC (preferable but not essential)
