The opportunity

We're seeking a sharp and organised Financial Planning Assistant to join our Darwin office full-time. You'll provide daily admin support and client contact for our busy advisory team. Experience in financial services is ideal, but strong service skills are essential.

What you will be doing

Provide day-to-day administrative support to a team of Financial Advisers

Maintain regular contact with clients, ensuring a professional and responsive service

Manage a high volume of administrative tasks with accuracy and efficiency

Assist team members to stay organised and on track with their workflow

Contribute to the smooth running of the office through proactive support and coordination

Apply strong attention to detail in all aspects of your work

Bring a service-oriented mindset and the ability to hit the ground running

What you will bring

At least 2 years of recent administration experience; previous experience in Financial Services is highly regarded

Ability to work well in a close-knit team, as well as autonomously

Personable, with the ability to build strong relationships with our clients

A positive outlook and an upbeat personality, as well as a willingness to contribute to our environment and culture

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially telephone skills

Ability to meet deadlines

Excellent time management skills, with a strong sense of 'urgency'

Problem-solving skills

Strong computer skills, including MS Word and Excel
