Customer Service Officer - NSW Government

We’re seeking experienced and personable Customer Service Representatives to join a dedicated team based in Griffith, NSW.

About the Role:

You’ll be the first point of contact for customers, providing professional, courteous and efficient service across a variety of channels. Working onsite in a structured service centre environment, you’ll assist customers with enquiries, process information, and uphold high service standards.

Key Details:

• Location: Griffith NSW (full time onsite role)
• Start Date: ASAP
• Assignment Length: Contract until 03/11/2025 with possible extensions
• Hourly Rate: $34.59 p/h + Super

About You:

• Typing, monitor/mouse navigation
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Outlook & Teams)
• Confident with email and online communication tools

• 2–3 years’ experience in customer service (call centre, admin, or retail preferred)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proven experience in an office environment
• Technically savvy with intermediate computer skills
  
• Fast learner, adaptable to new systems and processes
• Previous government or public sector experience is a bonus, but not essential
