We have an exciting opportunity for a Ticketing Support Officer to join our team!

What You Will Do:

As a Ticketing Support Officer, you will support the Ticketing & Sales Team Leader in delivering high-quality ticketing services for Creative Life Venues, Festivals & Events. Providing ticketing services for a rich and diverse program of performing arts, community, corporate, cultural and civic events led by Council and a range of other clients, organisations and promoters. You will be responsible for event builds, assist with pre-sales and on-sales, maintaining and managing events in the Ticketlink ticketing system, liaising with promoters, supporting marketing campaigns, and ensuring our customers receive prompt, friendly, and accurate service - whether online, over the phone, or at the box office.

You will work closely with our entire Ticketing and Box Office team, rotate between front and back-office duties, and help improve processes so we can continue offering top-tier services to our community.

What We Are Looking For:

Experience in ticketing systems and box office operation, customer service, and/or call centre environments.

Proven ability to manage difficult customer interactions, both in person and over the phone, and deliver effective solutions.

Proficient in using Ticketing systems with strong attention to detail.

Keen interest in the live events industry.

Strong skills and experience in cash handling and general administration.

Solid computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and learning new technology.

Ability to quickly learn council’s website software application and event management software application.

A strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and enhancing the reputation of Ticketlink.

Demonstrated ability to train team members in all facets of ticket selling duties.

Accurate and efficient keyboard and data entry skills, with a minimum accuracy rate of 98%.
