The purpose of the Administration Support Officer is to contribute to the efficient operations of the Regulatory Compliance & Enforcement Unit by working collaboratively in a team providing quality and timely administrative support within the transport compliance environment.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
• Work collaboratively within a team to provide a positive customer experience, working with internal and external stakeholders such as the Queensland Police Service and relevant road transport industry bodies.
• Deliver a range of administrative support activities including (but not limited) to:
o Maintaining records management systems in accordance with departmental requirements.
o Requisition of office supplies and minor equipment using a corporate card in line with departmental policy and procedures.
o Exercise judgement to co-ordinate the response to customer and industry enquiries and escalate as required.
o Provide administrative and business support by maintaining a range of online registers, databases and utilising contemporary computer software, programs and systems.
o Perform data entry, data interrogation and routine reporting.
o Provide accurate and relevant information to customers.
o Provide a range of administrative support, including the co-ordination of travel, accommodation and training as required.
Highly desirable qualifications and conditions:
• Strong computer literacy skills including Microsoft Suite and SAP. The successful applicant will be assisted in learning TMR specific systems.
• Experience providing exceptional customer service to internal and external customers addressing enquiries and concerns through various communication channels with professionalism and empathy.
• Proven ability to work autonomously, demonstrating strong initiative and a results-driven approach.
