About the position:
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Clinical Nurse (Education) with a passion for clinical teaching and facilitation. Our ideal candidate will have experience in Education and Cardiac Catheter Laboratory (CCL) to join our Education Team at St Vincent's Private Hospital Northside. This is a permanent, part-time role of 38 hours (0.5 FTE) per fortnight.
Reporting to the Education Manager, the Clinical Nurse (Education) is a vital member of the multidisciplinary team, responsible for promoting clinical excellence and staff development. This role supports the department's vision of delivering evidence-based care through continuous learning and professional growth by addressing both organisational and learners' needs.
You will be responsible for all aspects of clinical education and training within the Cardiac Catheter Laboratory environment supported by a highly skilled multidisciplinary team. Your responsibilities will further include providing excellent person-centred development of staff, assessment of clinical skills, assisting with clinical education events and support other education activities within the hospital in close collaboration with other members of the clinical education team.

Things that work for us:
- Current Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in CCL
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a clinically based education role (desirable)
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (current, and /or working towards)
- Postgraduate qualification in clinical specialty (desirable)
- Postgraduate qualification in clinical teaching, and/or education in a healthcare setting, or equivalent (desirable)
- Current Advanced Life Support Certification

Remuneration:
The position of Clinical Nurse (Education) in addition to our competitive salary packaging options, is a Classification/Grade with a base remuneration of $54.37 - $58.25 + superannuation based on experience level and relevant qualifications, exclusive of shift penalties or allowances.
