Site Supervisor – Major Infrastructure Project (Lake Cargelligo, NSW)
Start Date: 4 August 2025 (pending checks)
End Date: 10 April 2026
Pay Rate: $93.13/hr + Super + Overtime
Hours: 10 hr days | 50 hr week
Location: Lake Cargelligo, NSW

About the Role
As a Site Supervisor, you will oversee the on-site delivery of construction activities, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and project requirements. You’ll serve as the eyes and ears of WaterNSW on the ground, working collaboratively with construction partners, mentoring staff, and championing best practices in HSEQ (Health, Safety, Environment & Quality).
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily site supervision and safety oversight
- Maintain detailed site logs for cost tracking and compliance
- Participate in pre-start checks and risk identification
- Conduct regular safety walks and inspections with contractors
- Mentor teams on construction standards and HSEQ requirements
- Assist with work permit planning and documentation implementation
- Provide timely updates to the Project Manager on site progress and risks
- Inspect material sources at quarries (within 2 hours’ travel)
- Conduct borehole water level monitoring using WaterNSW instruments
About You
- Proven experience in civil/infrastructure construction supervision
- Strong understanding of HSEQ practices and compliance
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with contractors
- Current Police Check and two professional references
- Based in NSW (mandatory)
