At our flagship Werribee location, we’re looking for a nurturing, experienced educator to join our baby room (0–2 years) on a casual basis, with the potential to move into a permanent position.

This role is strictly for the nursery room, and we’re seeking someone with at least 2 years of experience working specifically with babies.

👶 About the Role:

As our Baby Room Educator, you’ll be part of a small, dedicated team supporting the youngest children in our care. Your role will include:

Creating a calm, secure, and responsive environment for 0–2 year olds

Building trusting relationships with babies and their families

Supporting routines such as feeding, sleep, and sensory exploration

Collaborating with the team to deliver meaningful, play-based learning experiences

Observing and documenting developmental milestones with care and accuracy

You’re a natural when it comes to caring for infants, and you bring a calming presence into every space. You’re patient, passionate, and understand how important the early years really are.

You’re someone who:

Has a genuine love for working with babies

Can communicate with warmth and professionalism

Works well in a team and is always ready to support others

Takes initiative and brings positive energy to each day

Shares Froliq’s Reggio Emilia-inspired belief in learning through exploration

✅ Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of experience in a baby/nursery room (essential)

Cert III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education (or actively working towards)

Valid Working with Children Check (Employee)

First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certificates

Solid understanding of the EYLF and NQS
