Position Overview:

Casual Assistant Educator
Happy Seeds Early Learning Centre and Kindergarten is looking for a few Assistant Educators to support our teaching team in creating a nurturing and engaging environment for children. The ideal candidates will have a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, along with a genuine passion for working with young children.

As an Assistant Educator at our Centre, you will work collaboratively with our lead educators to provide a safe and stimulating learning experience for children. You will assist in implementing educational programs, observing children's development, and supporting their social and emotional well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
~ Lead and supervise a team of educators in the toddler room.
~ Plan, implement, and evaluate age-appropriate curriculum and activities that promote learning and development.
~ Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
~ Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children in your care.
~ Maintain accurate records and documentation related to children's progress and daily activities.
~ Collaborate with other staff members and participate in professional development opportunities.

Requirements:
~ Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent qualification (minimum requirement).
~ Availability to work 2 to 3 days a week.
~ Previous experience working in a childcare setting.
~ Strong understanding of child development principles and early years learning frameworks.
~ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
~ Current First Aid, CPR, Police Check, and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
