Reslu is a boutique interior design and building studio based in Adelaide, creating high-end residential spaces where architectural detail and refined living converge. We’re looking for a Studio Design Assistant to join us in a multi-faceted support role—one that blends creativity, coordination, and behind-the-scenes precision. You’ll work closely with the director to help bring projects to life while supporting the smooth operation of the studio.

The Role

This is a part-time, in-person position (3 days/week) based in Adelaide, with the potential for additional days for the right person.

You’ll assist across a wide range of responsibilities—from documentation and sourcing to admin and supplier communications—becoming an essential part of our design and delivery process. You’ll also work closely with our remote documentation team, contributing to the execution of exceptional residential projects while learning the inner workings of a prestige studio environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with sourcing, documenting, and preparing schedules for fixtures, fittings, and finishes

Liaise with our remote documentation team to finalise drawing sets

Coordinate supplier communication, request quotes, and manage follow-ups

Maintain studio organisation and act as a point of contact in the director’s absence

Track project timelines and help keep documentation flowing seamlessly

Who We’re Looking For

Detail-oriented, proactive, and highly organised

Clear and professional communicator, confident engaging with trades, clients, and suppliers

Experience in custom joinery design and an understanding of production workflows

Current with interior design products, materials, and industry trends

Strong technical skills in SketchUp and LayOut (essential)

Someone who can demonstrate taking the lead on design projects—whether independently or as part of a team

Looking for a long-term position with room to grow alongside the business
