We are seeking a passionate and experienced Finance Manager to lead a small administration team, uphold our values, and inspire a people-first culture that fosters empowerment, purpose, and connection.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership: Mentor and motivate admin team staff to build a strong, high-performing team.
Quality Control: Initiate and maintain effective control procedures to ensure all assets, liabilities, income and expenses are accurately recorded
Strategic Plan Projections and forecasting: Completion of budgets and forecasts
Operational Performance: Oversee day to day financial management, cash flow reporting and administration functions
Reporting: Preparation, review, and analysis of daily, weekly and end of period management reports. Compile and analyse financial information to the CEO on a regular basis
Team Development & Culture: Provide training, promote respect, and cultivate a collaborative environment.
Cross-Team Communication/Collaboration: Work closely with the CEO, Operations Manager and Head Chef on the financial performance of their drivers, analyse and control expenditures of all departments to ensure compliance to budgetary requirements
Industry Awareness/Compliance: Stay informed on legislation and compliance issues within the Club financial environment
About You
Background in accounting or finance
Prepare BAS, IAS, Payroll, Superannuation and other ATO lodgements
Experience as an Accountant, Finance Manager, or similar
Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and cash flow management
Comfortable working in a hands-on, growing business environment
Proficiency with MYOB accounting system
Experience with time and attendance and payroll processing systems
Experience with Excel and Word
Proven understanding of Registered Club operations
Previous experience in the same or similar role with at least 3 years leading a Finance Team in a hospitality environment
Registered BAS agent highly regarded
