Management Accountant - Immediate Start for ASX Listed business

Location: Sydney CBD + WFH flexibility

Hourly Rate: $55-$65 + Superannuation

Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join their finance team in Sydney CBD. Ideal First Commercial Step for CA-Qualified, Big 4-Trained Accountants on a 417 WHV.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and reconcile detailed balance sheet and profit and loss statements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to compliance standards.

Conduct insightful variance analysis and liaise with key stakeholders

Oversee project financials, including setup, budgeting, and expenditure tracking; facilitate project creation and ensure accurate system setup.

Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to proactively manage issues and concerns, investigate and discuss variances, and provide guidance and advice.

• Execute precise and timely month-end closing procedures, encompassing journal entries, accruals, and necessary adjustments across various entities.

Required Skills and Experience:

CA/CPA qualified.

Proven experience in management accounting or a similar role.

Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.

Experience working with large ERP systems such as Workday, Oracle, SAP, or MS Dynamics.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
