Creative Representation is looking for a Manager's Assistant - Literary to deliver exceptional client care and systems administration to support the Head of Literary. This role offers exposure to various areas of the business, including literary, digital, live performance, corporate, and AFL/AFLW.
This role is primed for someone who thinks that they could be an Artist Manager one day and has a passion for great writing and directing on stage and screen.
Creative Representation’s Literary department represents creators/showrunners, screenwriters, directors, playwrights and authors working in film, television, theatre, books, podcasts and voice-over with a talented list of clients including Leah Purcell, Adam Briggs, Lally Katz, Alana Valentine and Julie Kalceff. We represent exceptional artists who have won Emmy’s, AACTAs, AWGIES and ADG Awards.
Role Responsibilities:
Foster and maintain good relationships with clients, production companies, and key industry contacts.
Manage client diaries, logistics, and travel arrangements.
Handle contract administration for Theatre, publishing, TV, and Film agreements.
Field telephone calls, manage multiple email inboxes, and perform general office administration.
Ensure accurate billing and invoicing, follow up on overdue payments, and generate invoice reports.
Reading scripts and preparing coverage, proofreading pitch documents.
Required Skills:
Experience as an Assistant, Administrator, or Executive Assistant in an agency or office environment.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work under pressure and with competing deadlines.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Commercial/business sense, maturity, and emotional intelligence.
