Pay rate: $750 - $850/day plus superannuation
Contract length: 12 Months

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Finance Data Migration Specialist to support a significant SAP implementation project. You’ll be responsible for ensuring accurate migration of finance and Project Portfolio Management (PPM) data from legacy systems into SAP, working closely with cross-functional teams including finance, IT, and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with functional and technical teams to gather and document data migration requirements
• Analyse and map source financial data to SAP structures and templates
• Migrate master data, transactional data, and balances accurately into SAP
• Lead the migration of PPM data, including project structures, milestones, budgets, and cost/resource plans
• Ensure alignment with SAP Finance configuration and troubleshoot integration issues
• Develop and execute test scripts; perform reconciliation and validation activities
• Collaborate with stakeholders for UAT, SIT, and post-migration support
• Provide regular project updates and maintain detailed documentation of all migration processes

Skills and Experience Required

• Strong experience in SAP financial data migration, including PPM modules
• Proven ability to analyse, map, and validate large sets of finance data
• Knowledge of SAP Finance configuration and integration principles
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical teams
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and documentation skills
