We have an opportunity for an experienced Purchasing Supervisor to join our team in a full-time capacity. Operating from our Melbourne premises in Cheltenham, this dynamic role ensures that the company’s inventory is managed effectively and accurately, allowing the company to possess or quickly source the relevant stock required to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
This exciting role is at the center of what our company is known for…the sale & support of technically advanced globally recognised electrical product solutions and the delivery of the best customer care in our industry.
You will have these primary responsibilities:
· Inventory management
· Purchasing
· Supplier order confirmations
· Revised backorder reservations
· Preparation of purchasing shipments
· Preparation of warehouse receipts
· Stock adjustments
· Multiple location stock transfers
· Freight forwarder management
· Customs / duty clearance
· Product database management
· Supplier database management
You will be managing a product portfolio that includes:
· Fuses
· Power quality equipment
· UPS
· Protection relays
· Energy management solutions
· Test equipment

· Have a minimum of 4 years of experience as a purchasing officer involving internationally sourced products?
· Have an organised personality and a proven track record of managing a stock profile?

As part of our Fuseco team, you will be in the privileged position of working alongside the best customer service talent in our industry. The successful candidate MUST have a minimum of 4 years of experience in purchasing and international procurement & importing.

This position reports to our National Sales Manager in Melbourne, operates from a home/office in Sydney and is a highly mobile traditional ‘on the road’ sales rep role involving the regular visiting of clients.
Salary: $80-90K (depending on experience) + Superannuation + Company Bonus
