About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Lead Teacher - Electrical, to join our electrical team. In this role, you will deliver engaging and industry-relevant education that supports students in achieving their learning and career goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver and assess Certificate II, III, and IV electrical training programs and industry-recognised professional development
- Lead a team in designing and improving educational materials and services
- Maintain compliance with VET, ASQA, and internal quality standards
- Support student wellbeing, learning progress and re-engagement
- Engage in course promotion, industry consultation, and validation
Skills and Experience Required
- A minimum of 5 years' recent experience in the electrical industry
- Electrical qualification relevant to the department (e.g., Certificate III in Electrotechnology)
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent)
- Proven ability to teach across multiple electrical qualifications and exams
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Experience in compliance, curriculum design, and student engagement
- Desirable: Knowledge of LMS platforms and vocational education trends
Additional Requirements
Successful candidate will be required to provide:
- A valid Victorian Employee Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- A National Police Check
