The Role
Ready to play a vital role in how Yarra Valley Water manages its important projects? We're looking for an enthusiastic PPM (Project Portfolio Management) Training and System Lead to join our supportive Enterprise PMO (EPMO). This is a fantastic opportunity to become our go-to champion for Altus, our PPM system! You'll directly help our teams across Yarra Valley Water use Altus effectively, making their work easier and our projects more successful. In this hands-on role, you'll get to oversee system administration, drive the continuous improvement of Altus, lead our training strategy, and build our teams' skills with the tool. Your expertise will make a real difference to our project performance and reporting.

What you'll be doing:

• Providing expert support for Altus users, troubleshooting issues, and managing system configurations and templates
• Monitoring how our teams are using Altus and implementing initiatives to help them get the most out of it
• Working closely with our EPMO, PMOs, project teams, IT, and vendors to keep improving Altus and the user experience
• You'll develop and own our training roadmap for Altus users, making sure it's easy to learn and aligns with how we run projects (our Enterprise Delivery Framework or EDF)
• Creating and delivering great learning experiences - like e-learning, guides, and workshops - tailored for different teams
• Making sure all training resources and user documents are up-to-date and easy to find

What we're looking for:

• Experience in a PPM support, PMO coordination, or project systems administration role
• A good understanding of project lifecycles, governance, and portfolio management principles
• Demonstrated experience developing and delivering training content in a corporate or project-focused setting
• Excellent communication skills - you're great at explaining things clearly and can connect with people at all levels
