Recruitment Manager – Own Talent Acquisition, Onboarding & Retention Strategy
Location: Sydney CBD (Full-Time | 5 Days In-Office)
Salary: $100,000 – $140,000 + Super + Up to $40,000 Bonus
Join Australia's #1 Property Investment Group
At Freedom Property Investors, we’re on a mission to help busy, everyday Australians build wealth safely through property. With over 10,000 members served, 300+ full-time staff, and 2,000+ five-star Google reviews, we pride ourselves on being the industry leaders in investment-grade property.
We’re now looking for a high-performance operator to join our team as a Recruitment Manager — someone who will personally own the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle across all departments and roles. From direct sourcing and onboarding to retention strategy, you will be both the architect and the engine behind how we scale our team.
About the Role
This is not a support function — this is an ownership role.
You will personally manage the entire recruitment pipeline, including sourcing top talent, headhunting directly, running hiring campaigns, overseeing onboarding, and implementing retention systems that scale. You’ll collaborate closely with hiring managers, marketing, and senior leadership — but you won’t delegate. This role requires execution, accountability, and urgency.
You’ll play a critical role in building the recruitment infrastructure that powers our continued national expansion.
What You’ll Be Doing
Personally own the recruitment lifecycle across all departments (sales, ops, corporate)
Headhunt and source top talent through direct outreach and campaign execution
Run national hiring campaigns across SEEK, LinkedIn, Meta, and other paid media
Write and optimise job ads, briefs, and recruitment comms to attract top performers
Launch and manage recruitment events — Careers Nights, Group Interviews, etc.
Build a recruitment database and maintain long-term pipeline visibility
Develop referral programs, alumni reactivation strategies, and internal mobility flows
Collaborate with marketing to launch high-performance paid recruitment funnels
Remap, document, and enforce structured onboarding processes across the company
Track 30/60/90 performance of new hires and flag risks or drop-offs early
Ensure all hiring managers are aligned and accountable for onboarding delivery
Monitor time-to-fill, source effectiveness, and early-stage retention rates
Deliver a full recruitment + retention strategy — systems, SOPs, scorecards, workflows
What You’ll Need
3+ years’ experience in recruitment — high-growth or high-volume preferred
Strong success soin urcing and placing across multiple departments (especially sales)
Experience running national campaigns, careers events, and volume onboarding
Proven ability to lead onboarding and reduce early-stage attrition
Confident working directly with senior leaders and department heads
Exceptional communication, copywriting, and recruitment marketing ability
Highly organised with strong data fluency and a bias for action
Do Not Apply If…
You only feel comfortable managing a few open roles at once
You wait for applicants instead of proactively sourcing talent
You don’t want to lead onboarding or track 90-day retention data
You want to work remotely — this is a full-time, in-office role in Sydney CBD
You’re not prepared to own the entire recruitment and retention lifecycle end-to-end
Your Scorecard (KPIs)
Headcount Fulfilment – Fill 90%+ of approved roles in the financial year
90-Day Retention – 90% of hires are still active and not under PIP at 90 days
Time-to-Fill – Average time-to-fill of 30 days or less
Strategy Delivery – Documented recruitment, onboarding, and retention framework delivered company-wide
What You’ll Get
💰 $100K–$140K base + Super + Up to $40K Bonus
📦 End-to-end ownership of recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategy
🚀 Direct access to leadership and influence over national hiring scale
🏢 In-office role at our Sydney CBD HQ with structured, high-growth environment
📈 Performance-based bonus tied to clear KPIs and business impact
How to Apply
Submit your CV and a short cover letter outlining your recruitment experience and success in building scalable hiring systems. We’ll contact shortlisted candidates directly to move forward.
