Recruitment Manager – Own Our Talent Strategy and Drive Business Growth

Location: Sydney CBD (Full-time, 5 days in-office)
Salary: $100,000 – $140,000 + Super + Bonuses

About Freedom Property Investors

We are Freedom Property Investors, Australia’s #1 property investment group, and awarded 3rd fastest-growing company nationwide. Our mission is to help everyday Australians build long-term wealth through real estate.

With over 10,000 members served, 300+ full-time staff, and 2,000+ five-star Google reviews, we pride ourselves on being the industry leaders in property investment. We’re now looking for a strategic, proactive, and results-driven Recruitment Manager to lead and own our hiring function end-to-end.

This role will report directly to the General Manager and offers full ownership of recruitment, onboarding, and retention across the company. You will be responsible for remapping and managing the entire hiring lifecycle — from proactive sourcing to onboarding and long-term retention — at high volume and speed. As a fast-growing company with national scale, we’re hiring rapidly and need someone who can build a recruitment engine that scales with us.

What You’ll Earn

💰 Base Salary: $100,000 – $140,000 + Super + Bonuses
📈 Career Growth in a fast-paced, high-performance environment
🎯 Full Ownership of recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategy

What You’ll Do

As our Recruitment Manager, you will:

Headhunt and actively source top candidates for high-volume sales and support roles

Manage large-scale hiring campaigns across Seek, LinkedIn, and social media platforms

Build and maintain a robust recruitment database and long-term talent pipeline

Develop and manage structured employee referral and alumni reactivation programs

Collaborate with marketing to launch high-impact recruitment ads and content

Plan and execute national Careers Nights and Group Recruitment Days across Australia

Conduct first-round interviews and pre-screening for values and culture alignment

Own and optimise the recruitment-to-onboarding process to ensure consistency and scale

Work closely with hiring managers to ensure full onboarding adherence and new hire integration

Track performance through 30/60/90-day milestones and report on retention trends

Implement systems and routines that drive long-term retention and accountability across departments

What You’ll Need to Succeed

3+ years of recruitment experience, ideally in a high-growth or high-volume hiring environment

Proven success in placing large volumes of candidates across multiple functions and channels

Experience managing national recruitment campaigns and events

Strong understanding of onboarding processes and retention best practices

Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills

Highly organised, detail-oriented, and capable of scaling systems fast

A proactive, data-driven mindset with a bias for action and accountability

Who You Are

You thrive in fast-paced, high-growth businesses where hiring speed matters

You don’t just fill roles — you build and scale recruitment machines

You take full ownership of the end-to-end hiring journey, from outreach to retention

You care deeply about the success of new hires after they start, not just when they accept

You’re highly collaborative, hold others accountable, and work with urgency and clarity

You’re passionate about building world-class teams that fuel long-term business success

Do Not Apply If…

This is a strategic and execution-heavy role. Please do not apply if:

You’re only comfortable managing a few open roles at a time

You rely solely on job ads and wait for inbound applicants

You avoid leading onboarding processes or tracking retention data

You prefer to support recruitment rather than own it

You’re not comfortable working from our Sydney CBD office 5 days a week

How to Apply:

Submit your resume and a short cover letter outlining your experience in recruitment, sourcing, and scaling high-performing teams.

We will contact shortlisted candidates directly to move forward.

Final Thought

We’re not looking for someone to keep recruitment ticking over. We’re looking for someone to build and scale the hiring engine that powers a national company. If you're ready to own recruitment, onboarding, and retention at volume — and lead the people strategy behind Australia’s #1 property investment brand — apply now.
