CELOTTI WORKFORCE is seeking an experienced Civil Leading Hand to join our clients on major roadwork and infrastructure projects across Southeast Queensland.

We currently have roles based in the following areas

• Logan to Gold Coast
• Ipswich
• North Brisbane to Sunshine Coast

These roles offer ongoing work and a temp-to-perm opportunity for the right candidate.

About the Role:

As a Leading Hand your work may consist of supervising labourers and operators, while ensuring projects are running smoothly, efficiently and on time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise small teams of Operators and Labourers
• Ensure project deadlines and quality standards are met
• Read and interpret construction plans
• Maintain and enforce on-site safety procedures
• Operate machinery as required (with appropriate tickets

Our Ideal Candidate:

• Demonstrated supervisory experience
• 2+ years industry experience in either civil roadworks or subdivisions
• Machinery tickets (highly desirable)
• Open/unrestricted Driver’s License.
• White Card
• Excellent attitude towards health and safety
