We’re a civil construction company with a growing footprint across South East Queensland. Known for delivering reliable, high-quality work, we’re expanding our team and looking for an experienced Operator who can also step into a leading hand or supervisor-style role on site.

About the Role:

This is a hands-on role suited to someone with solid operating experience who’s also confident leading crews when required. You’ll start on a casual basis, with the opportunity to transition into a full-time position after a probation period.

Duties Include:

• Operating plant and equipment (excavators, etc.)

• Overseeing day-to-day tasks and site personnel

• Ensuring safety and quality standards are upheld

• Communicating with team members and site management

• Assisting with general civil tasks when needed

General Requirements:

• RIW Card (or willing to obtain)

• White Card

• Relevant Plant & Equipment Tickets

• Certificate III in Civil Construction

• Manual Driver’s Licence (MR/HR highly regarded)

Desirable Accreditations:

• RIIMPO320F – Conduct civil construction excavator operations

• TLIF0020 – Safely access the rail corridor

• TLIF2010 – Apply failure management strategies

• WET – Working in Electrified Territory

• Cat 3 Rail Medical (or willing to obtain)

Other Things to Note:

• Must be able to pass a Cat 3 Rail Medical (if required for future works)

• Must be able to pass random drug and alcohol testing

• Previous rail experience is not required but is a bonus

• Reliability and a good attitude are essential
