Law Firm located in North Parramatta, specialising in Local Government, Commercial debt recovery, Property Law & Conveyancing.

Seeking an individual for a Para - Legal / Legal Clerk position who is looking for a change of environment to join our team.

The purpose of this role is to provide clerical and administrative support to the Principal and working with other Para - Legals, including document preparation and filing of legal documents in the Local, District Courts NSW, Magistrates Courts in Qld, Vic, W.A., and managing Pexa Workspaces in conveyancing matters - may include some appearance work and would suit university students studying law - the role can be full time or casual depending on individual's circumstances.

Specific responsibilities include but is not limited to:

Preparation of legal documents for filing in the Local and District Courts;

Preparation of legal documents for review by Principal Solicitor;

Attendance on some Local Court Examination hearings and Pre - Trial Reviews (online);

attendance on Pexa Workspace and creation of documents including Transfers, Caveats;

preparation of briefs for barristers;

Diary management;

File management ;

Managing emails and handling phone calls ;

Various general administrative work.
