The Digital Health Solutions at the Mackay Base Hospital is seeking applications for an Application Support Specialist to join their team on a temporary basis.

  • To work in a collaborative team and contribute to the ongoing maintenance of a Digital Hospital environment. To provide advice on and support of clinical applications in accordance with defined service levels for the Mackay HHS to ensure high quality clinical application services to all clinical and business areas.
  • You will have the opportunity to partner with clinicians and administrators to find high quality digital application solutions which directly improve the quality and efficiency of health service delivery to the Mackay HHS.

About the Unit / Team / Department

The Digital Health Solutions team support the state-wide Integrated Electronic Medical Record (ieMR) solution and offers opportunity to be involved in training delivery and system adoption, as well as change management and process redesign. The functionality of ieMR at this HHS includes Medication Management, Anaesthetics, SurgiNet, FirstNet, Care Delivery, Renal and Powerchart Maternity solutions and includes device integration for ECG and CTG.
